Elroy is a lovely older German Shepherd cross who has been waiting far too long for a home of his own. Unfortunately shortly after he arrived he was poorly and had to stay in his kennel, so he couldn't meet any potential owners. Now he has been recovered for a few weeks and is in perfect health.
He has lived with a dog in the past but we feel he would be happier as a single pet because he can be selective over which dogs he likes. He also cannot live with cats.
Despite his age (Elroy is around 9 years old) he is full of energy and loves nothing more than going for walks. He currently goes on long walks with one of his doggy friends, Billy, and is very well behaved. The dog walkers all love him! He is already well trained and knows lots of commands. He's a bit of a clown too and everybody loves to play with him in the yard.
Kennels are no place for older dogs - can you give him the home he craves?
