The Mews: 10th to 16th November

Nov 18, 2014

Miaowy Greetings everybody, it's Sir Felix here! I apologise for the delay in sending this post, but I've been very busy at the Centre helping the staff with the arrival of some tiny puppies! There'll be more about those next week...

Headline

The #furryfaceselfie campaign has now raised almost £250! A great amount that will help the Centre to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome more animals. If you haven't taken your pet's furry face selfie yet, read about the campaign here.

Arrivals

14 animals arrived at the Centre last week, including 7 cats, 4 kittens and 3 dogs. The four kittens are only three weeks old but are so far doing very well! They already love their food, a bit like me!

Adoptions

12 animals were adopted - what a grrreat amount! 7 cats, 3 dogs and 2 rabbits went to their new homes, which included Nova the husky puppy. Nova didn't have the best start in life, poor chap, but he and his sister Luna now have the best futures ahead of them.

Looking ahead

Our winter newsletter has just gone to print and there will be a downloadable version on the website within the next week. Keep an eye out for the link! The newsletter includes a summary of the past year at the Centre and a bit of a look into 2015. I'm excited to see what the next year brings. It's set to be paw-some!

And that's me, Sir Felix Purrington, signing off. Until next week!
