Rosie had a very difficult time before she came to us. Her owners locked her in a room and moved out of the property. She was all alone in one room for around two weeks before she was discovered and an Inspector rescued her. Obviously by the time she came to us she was extremely skinny and in need of plenty of TLC. Despite her ordeal Rosie is such a sweet, loyal dog. She is still slowly building up her body weight so she's still underweight at the moment, but she's getting there. All she wants from people is love and attention, and treats don't go amiss either!
She's currently spending time in one of the staff members' offices and is loving all the special treatment she is getting. What's become even more obvious is how obedient she is. She knows how to sit and give paw for treats, and she really listens to the staff when they give her instructions.
Rosie's one vice is that she unfortunately does not like other dogs. She walks very well on a lead but isn't happy when she spies another dog. However, she's getting better at ignoring dogs on walks and she just needs somebody who is willing to continue her training in his area. Her ideal owner will have experience of large breed dogs as she is a strong girl.
She is so loved at the Centre due to her loveable personality and her never ending affection for people. Please come and meet her - she could be the dog for you!
EDIT: ROSIE HAS NOW BEEN REHOMED!
