Join us for walkies at our at Bark in the Park event. It's great fun for both you and your pooch.

Help us to meet the demands of unforeseen medical attention that animals like Ruby so urgently need.

The animals we rescue rely entirely on the generosity of people like you. We simply can’t help them without you. Please support our work by making a donation.

Big Walkies Alert: Save the Date

Mar 26, 2015

We're proud and privileged to announce that on the 20th September we will host our very own Big Walkies Sponsored Dog Walk at Shipley Country Park!

What is Big Walkies?

Big Walkies is a new series of sponsored dog walks co-ordinated by National RSPCA and a small number of Branches like ourselves are hosting them this year. We can't wait to welcome lots of you and your pooches to the event.

Registration for the event will be available online later in the year and we are encouraging everybody to gain as much sponsorship as possible.

Why is it important for me to gain sponsorship?

Every penny of sponsorship you raise will come directly to us, your local RSPCA Branch, and help us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome more animals in need. Your contribution, and the effort of you and your special pooch, will help us to care for other dogs without a loving owner like you. This includes dogs like Luna and Nova, two husky puppies with severe mange who had to undergo many weeks of intensive treatment before they were able to be adopted, or Rosie the American Bulldog, who was left in a house to starve and was painfully thin when we took her in.

Where can I find out more information?

Have a look on our event page over the next few months for updates! National RSPCA Big Walkies page is full of information about the two flagship events and registration for local events like ours will start on the 1st June via National RSPCA's site so keep an eye out.

We will also be giving out more information, along with sponsorship forms, at Bark in the Park in July. We hope lots of you will come to both events!
