15th May 2016 saw hundreds of runners, staff and volunteers descend on Carsington Water Reservoir for our 5th annual Carsington 7 Race. And it was our best one yet!
It took weeks of preparation and hard work by Victoria, who was regularly travelling to and from the site to set it up ready for the big day and worked alongside some great companies to get tshirts printed, put together goodie bags and organise some water for our fantastic runners! The course had to be mapped out and then signs printed and displayed to show runners where to go, posters put up around the area, and social media posts queued regularly in the weeks leading up the event.
This year we had brilliant weather, and the day was a big success with more runners than ever before! The Stone Island Spin was a hit with the little ones and their four-legged friends, and we enjoyed every minute of the day. Our volunteers were amazing and everybody had a fun day, so we'd like to say a huge thank you to those who gave up their time to help us with such a big event (we couldn't have done it without you!).
Well done to all of our runners - you did it! Check out the pictures captured and see if you can spot yourself!
