Make a Donation

There are many ways that you can donate now to Derby & District RSPCA. We rely solely on donations and legacies and every single one is gratefully received. Every year we help hundreds of animals find loving new homes and without your continued generosity and support this would not be possible.

Just Giving

It’s easy to make a simple donation now - click here to donate and please remember to check the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer

Legacies

Without legacies and bequests we would not be able to carry out the valuable animal welfare work that we do. We are an independently funded charity so if you want to leave a gift to help care for animals in our area, please ask your solicitor to make it clear in your will that you want the funds to go to Derby & District RSPCA, charity number 222620. Our details are below but if you or your solicitor need further information then please contact our branch manager on 01332 344620.

Give As You Earn

If you earn a salary, or if your pension is paid via PAYE, making a commitment to giving doesn't get any simpler than this. With Give As You Earn,  you can give directly from your pre-tax salary, so money that would normally go to the taxman goes to charity instead. You just decide how much you want to give each month - it could be a couple of pounds, or hundreds or thousands - and who you want to give it to. Then your donation comes out of your pay packet before the taxman touches it.

Your chosen charity benefits because they know they've got money coming regularly and can plan what to do with it in the long term.

You benefit because you don’t pay any tax on the donations you make. If you’re a basic rate taxpayer, a gift of £5 only actually costsyou £4 - so you can pass the tax relief on to the charity.

Give As You Earn is incredibly flexible – you can give as much or as little as you like. Contact your employer for further details.

Donate Goods for selling in our Long Eaton Charity Shop

If you are unable to donate money we are very grateful for donated goods that can be sold through our charity shop in Long Eaton or at events. Just drop them into the Centre on Abbey Street or the shop on High Street, Long Eaton where they will be gratefully received.

Donate Animal Food or Toys

Donating items such as pet foods, cat litter, animal bedding, towels, toys for animal enrichment etc. releases money that can be spent on other items and makes the animals in our care happy and loved.

Whichever way you choose to help us is fantastic and we welcome you as part of the Derby Animal Welfare Team providing support and help to animals in need in our area.
