Fostering and Hand-rearing

Our fosterers are vital members of our volunteer team who give animals who need it that extra love and care. We generally send cats and rabbits to foster homes and are particularly in need to cat fosterers during the summer months due to an influx of kittens. Hand-rearers are those dedicated people who hand-rear orphaned kittens and puppies for us.

We are also in need of dog fosterers. Many of our older dogs thrive better in a foster home as kennel life can be stressful for them. This takes a lot of time and effort so it isn't for everybody but if you are interested, please get in touch for further information.
