Our Volunteers

Volunteers are vital to our work at Derby RSPCA Animal Centre and our Long Eaton Charity Shop.  We are gradually persuading them to have their picture on our website..... If you would like to join them please contact karen on 01332 344620 or karenacarter@live.co.uk

Meet Rachel, one of our stalwart volunteers.  She's as mad as a March Hare and great fun, we wouldn't be without her, hopefully...  As well as supporting our events, Rachel and her partner will often take a dog out for the day and return it exhausted.

Gerry has been with us for quite a while now.  He initially came to us as a volunteer driver but does a bit of everything and particularly loves working with the dogs.  The dogs all seem to love him and Stimpy absoloutely adores him - he watches him very closely in case it's his turn to go in the exercise yard or even better go for a walk.  

Janet has volunteered for Derby RSPCA for over 12 years now and we wouldn't be without her.  Janet is a real cat lover and devotes herself to looking after her rescue cat Beth.  Janet is shown with one of the Centre's cats available for rehoming " Sunflower".
