We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated deputy manager for our shop in Ripley, Derbyshire. - Can you work in a team, take personal ownership for the performance of the shop, maximise profits, manage a volunteer team and deliver excellent customer service? In this varied and exciting role you will be instrumental in ensuring your shop continues to be a successful hub for the community, working closely with the animal welfare team and representing the RSPCA Derby & District Branch and Abbey Street Animal Rehoming Centre.
Our shops fund vital animal welfare work at The Abbey Street Animal Rehoming Centre in Derby including the rehabilitation of animals which have been subjected to neglect, cruelty and abandonment.

At the Derby & District of the RSPCA we are looking to recruit more trustees.
Do you have a professional expertise you could use to help a good cause? Are you passionate about animal welfare? We are looking for trustees to oversee the affairs of the Derby & District Branch, to promote and provide animal welfare within the branch area.
As a trustee you will have the chance to influence how we care for and prevent cruelty to animals. You would be expected to attend, as a minimum, 6 trustee meetings, lasting approximately 2 hours, spread throughout the year.
It is a great way to meet like-minded people who share your enthusiasm for animal welfare. You will have the opportunity to gain new skills and develop existing ones, whilst making a real difference to the lives of animals.
Most people over the age of 18 are eligible to become a trustee, but you will need to become a member of the RSPCA.
