Archie was left by his family to an elderly relative who unfortunately kept Archie in a crate. He is a very underweight at the moment but is on a good diet so is gaining weight nicely. He has had to have two big operations recently, one for a prolapse and the other to remove a large proportion of his tail.
Archie is a huge baby, he loves cuddles. He can be a little shy at time but comes round within seconds.
He has met other dogs with us with a polite interest and doesn't seem bothered if they do not engage back with him. We would rehome with a calm and understanding female dog.
Archie would benefit from someone who understands the breed and what makes them tick. He is young so will need exercise and would benefit from training as he loves to please his people.
Due to not knowing his past we would prefer an adult only home or at least older children. We are not sure how he would cope being left alone.
Please give this beautiful boy a chance at a real life, where pain and fear are no more just love guidance and kindness.
