Life has been hard on this older gentleman, at the ripe old age of eleven Sir Maxwell was left abandoned in a property all alone with no food or water, without help Sir Maxwell would have surely died.
He was sad, confused and completely lost when he entered our care. As if being abandoned was not bad enough Sir Maxwell is partially blind and deaf making everything even more scary and confusing. Sir Maxwell is now hoping you can fill his life with kindness and love.
Despite his challenges Maxwell does not let life get him down, he cherishes everyday and knows at his time of life it is no good dwelling on the past but looking forward with hope to the future.
Although his legs may be a bit creaky and his joints a little stiff his heart is still made of gold and with every beat it is searching had to find a new family to love.
Sir Maxwell says,
"I don't know why I was left all alone, I tried my best to be a good boy I didn't understand what had happened to me and why I was all alone. I barked and barked but no one came. I'm currently staying at hotel Abbey Street, it's fine here and the staff are lovely, I'd give it five stars, but what I need is someone to love me and whom I can love in return.
I would love
A flat garden where I can potter around and smell the fresh air and flowers.
A quiet home, although I like children I'm a little too old to be playing with them now.
Someone who is at home all day (or most of the day) so I can be reassured you are there.
A home where I am the only pet, I really need one on one attention."
Please take a chance on me. I'm here waiting patiently for you to take me home.
