Meet Teddy

Teddy is really a rather extraordinary cat. He arrived at Abbey Street in the care of an RSPCA Inspector who had rescued him after being found in a bit of a sorry state.

It is thought that at some point whilst minding his own business Teddy had been involved in some kind of altercation with another animal causing him to receive a rather nasty bite to his neck. Poor Teddy being unable to seek help for himself had struggled on and got himself into rather a pickle.

Unfortunately Teddy's bite turned into a large abscess that ruptured leaving him in a lot of discomfort. Luckily a kind member of public found Teddy and called the RSPCA for assistance.

Teddy received emergency care and is now on strong antibiotics to ensure his wound heals without complications. The team at Abbey Street are taking great care of him, cleaning his wound several times a day and they are sure he will soon be on the mend.

Teddy is a happy chap and never let his situation get him down he will shortly be looking for a new home and a new adventure.

We would describe Teddy as affectionate, loving and inquisitive.
