Freya - On fosterBack
This lovely bunny came into RSPCA care after her owner had a change of circumstances and could sadly no longer look after her.

What does on foster mean?

We send animals on foster for all different reasons, it may be that the animal is too young to be in the centre; it may be that they are recovering from an illness or operation but most commonly it is to give them some rest and relaxation away from the centre.

If you are interested in adopting an animal on foster please call us on 01332 344620 and we will arrange a meet for you.

She is in good health and she is a really friendly and loving rabbit. Although she isn keen on being picked up she loves to be fussed and stroked and she loves to sit next to you for cuddles. Freya could possibly live with other rabbits however she can be territorial in her cage so she would be better suited to live with a calm male rabbit. Freya is currently in a foster home but she is available for adoption now. If you would like more information on adopting her please talk to a member of the team today.

Like larger pets rabbits require plenty of love and attention too.

Please be sure to do your research before adopting a rabbit as it is important to consider how much time and space rabbit needs as well as ensuring you have the right accommodation and location for that accommodation.

Rabbits are a popular choice for many families with an estimated 1.5 million rabbits kept as pets in the UK [PDSA Animal Wellbeing Report 2016]. And its no surprise as rabbits are highly intelligent, inquisitive animals. Owning rabbits can be extremely rewarding.

Rabbits come in a variety of breeds, shapes and sizes and each bunny has there own unique personality. Typically theyll live for 8 - 12 years, but some may live for longer so careful consideration is needed before adopting one.

We are always happy to help so please feel free to call us or email for help and advice.
