Meet Gus

He is a 1-year-old mouse who came into our care after his previous owners could no longer keep him due to health reasons. He’s a curious and friendly little guy who loves to explore his surroundings and would make a wonderful companion for the right family.

Mice are intelligent, active animals with big personalities in tiny bodies. They thrive on enrichment and mental stimulation and need a spacious, well-ventilated accommodation filled with plenty of activities to keep them busy. Tunnels, platforms, chew toys, hideouts, and a solid (not wire) exercise wheel are all essential for helping them stay happy and healthy.

Here’s what we know about Gus:
👶 Could live with gentle children aged 5+ (with supervision)
🏡 Needs a large, enriched accommodation
🧠 Very inquisitive, enjoys exploring and investigating new things
❤️ Loves running on his wheel, finding hidden treats, and watching the world go by

At the moment, Gus is living on his own, but mice are social animals and typically benefit from living in same-sex groups or pairs to prevent loneliness. However, introductions must be done carefully, especially with males. If you have experience with mice and think Gus might be the perfect match for you, we’d love to hear from you.
