A fundraising hole in one!

The sun shone on the 8th June for Sky Recruitment's first corporate golf day in support of the animals at Abbey Street. Thirty keen golfers took to the course at Horsley Lodge to complete 18 holes as well as take part in a range of competitions, all whilst raising money to support the work of RSPCA Derby. The day ended with a talk by branch manager, Penny Lockwood, and a great raffle organised by the fabulous team at Sky Recruitment. A grand total of £1,000 was raised for our animals, which exceeded all our expectations!

Branch Manager Penny had this to say "We were thrilled to be approached by Karen and Aimee from Sky Recruitment to be the headline charity for their golf day. We had a great time getting to know the wider team, as well as meeting people from a range of companies in Derby. We also had the opportunity to tell the golfers about the invaluable work we do every day to support animals in need.
