Louie's life-changing surgery fundraiser

On Monday 30th September we launched an appeal to raise money for Louie, a 5-year-old French Bulldog who needed major surgery to change his life. Here is his story:

Our sweet boy, Louie, needs your help.
Louie is a lovable, bouncy boy who wants to get out on walks and play to his heart’s content, but he can’t. He has been diagnosed with Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome or BOAS, which means that excess tissue from his shortened nasal passages, soft palate and throat suffocates him when he tries to breathe. He also has excess skin folds across the top of his nose which are at higher risk of infection.
Louie needs life-changing surgery to widen his nasal passages and remove the skin folds and excess tissue in his nose, throat and soft palate. It’s a big operation but it is vital that Louie has it done, and our vets have said they can operate as soon as possible.
We need to raise £950 to cover the cost of the operation and recovery so Louie can live a life free from suffocation. Louie has struggled with this every day for his whole life, but he deserves to be able to run and play without gasping for every breath, and we need your help to make it happen.
We are a completely self-funded charity, so we have to raise all the money for surgeries like this ourselves. Any amount you can donate will help Louie get this life-changing operation and give him a future free from suffocation.

Louie's fundraiser was a huge success! 
Yesterday we launched an appeal to raise £950 so Louie could have life-changing surgery, and we were absolutely blown away by the response! 
We raised all the money in 24 hours
Our boy can now have his operation and live a life free from suffocation
