Donations for animals
As a self-funded charity, your support makes a huge difference to abused, neglected, and abandoned animals in Derby. If you would like to support our animals by donating items, here are the things we need the most.
Dogs:
- Chappie tinned food (loaf or jelly)
- Grain free meat in jelly
- Hot dog sausages
- Poo bags
- Denta Stix (particularly the long twisty ones)
- Nylabones
- Puppy pads
- Pedigree Cheesy Bites
Cats:
- Adult or kitten meat in jelly (we can't use the gravy type)
- Royal Canin Mother & Babycat food (dry + wet)
- Royal Canin Baby cat milk
- Dreamies
- Lick-e-lix treat tubes
- Treat sticks
- Tins of tuna in spring water
- Cat nip (toys, balls, sachets/tubs)
- Scratching posts/mats
- Cardboard scratchers
Small furries:
- Burgess nuggets (for rabbits, Guinea pigs, mice/rats etc)
- Dried herbs (from the rabbit section in pet shops)
- Nibble sticks
- Fresh fruit & veg (kale, spinach, cabbage, carrot, apple, etc.)
- Carefresh bedding
- Millet
- Cuttlefish
General:
- Newspapers
- Blankets
- Towels
- Pet toys
- Pet beds
- Dog coats
We are unable to take duvets, pillows, medicine, and open food.
