Find your next pet

The role of Derby & District RSPCA is to provide help & support for animals & their owners from Derby & the surrounding area. Our work is invaluable to the lives of the many animals that have suffered from cruelty or neglect.

Every year, over 1,000 homeless animals are brought in to us. We do our best to find loving homes for all of them.

It can take weeks and sometimes months to rehabilitate animals. Our staff and volunteers work hard to ensure every animal that comes through our doors will find their 'perfect match'.

What people say

 Alice (Rabbit)

“Taking Alice on foster to adopt was so helpful, as it meant that we could continue the bonding process in our own house and were not rushed or pressured to mix.”

“As soon as I saw William, I knew he was the rabbit for me. It is wonderful how many rabbits the RSPCA Derby helps and am proud to have given one of them a home forever.”

Fostering rabbits (Rabbit)

It’s hard work (lots of cleaning, cuddling and grooming), but lots of fun. It is also interesting to research in order to provide for all their physical and emotional needs. Well worth the hard work when you finally win their love and trust. I wouldn’t be without them.”
